Lynne’s Journey to Graduation

Lynne joined South San Francisco Adult School in fall 2024 with a clear goal: to earn her high school equivalency. In just one semester, she successfully passed four of the five HiSET subtests. Although math posed a significant challenge, Lynne persevered—enrolling in our support class, dedicating herself fully, and passing her final test by early spring.

At graduation, Lynne delivered a heartfelt speech that inspired the entire audience, a powerful testament to her resilience and hope. Her journey is a shining example of how determination, support, and optimism can turn dreams into reality. Already a certified paralegal, Lynne’s dedication paid off. After completing her HiSET, she secured a position as a Paralegal Case Manager at a local law firm, where she now prepares estate plans, wills, and trusts.
